In Costa Rica, due to tropical conditions, a sign lasts between 1 and 7 years, depending on the requirements, the area, sun exposure, the materials it is built from, and whether it was built as a permanent or a temporary sign (near the ocean vs. inland, direct sun vs. shaded). The casing material also matters: an aluminum-sided sign will last significantly longer than one with a PVC side. We recommend the right material for each location and budget.

A properly installed sign is not affected by rain. The components we use — such as LED strips and drivers — are selected with appropriate IP ratings based on the specific needs and location of each sign. We also recommend an annual maintenance check before the rainy season begins.

Changes before manufacturing starts are free. Changes after manufacturing has begun may incur an additional cost depending on the stage. That is why we make sure you approve everything in writing before we start.

Yes. We install throughout Guanacaste at no extra travel cost — Nosara, Flamingo, La Cruz, Liberia, and more. For projects outside of Guanacaste, there may be an additional travel fee, which is stated upfront in the quote.

But if the sign is very old and in poor condition, we will not recommend an upgrade — it would be a temporary fix that ends up costing more in the long run. We will inspect and tell you the truth, even if that means a new sign.
